Bali – Breathtaking Landscapes
Bali is one of Indonesia’s most diverse islands. Breathtaking coral reefs, famous shipwrecks, a fascinating macro world, lush rice terraces, Hindu temples, and a unique culture make this trip an unforgettable experience—both above and below the water.
In northeastern Bali lie some of Indonesia’s most beautiful dive sites. These include the world-famous Liberty wreck in Tulamben, Gili Selang with its impressive corals and frequent shark encounters, the Japanese wreck with its fascinating macro slope, and Jemeluk Bay with its artificial reefs, as well as many other diverse dive sites along the coast.
Relaxing Dives from Land & a Stunning Underwater World
Most of Bali’s dive sites can be reached from land or after very short boat rides along the picturesque coast. Each dive entry point has shower and changing facilities. In addition, helpful local assistants are on hand to take the burden of carrying equipment off divers’ shoulders before and after dives. This makes every day of diving a relaxing experience—both above and below the water. Although I’ve been to Bali many times, I look forward to this special blend of fantastic dives, impressive culture, and the island’s unique landscape every single time. Maybe we’ll experience it together soon.
Warm hospitality
We’re staying at a small, family-run resort right on the coast. The relaxed atmosphere and warm hospitality make our stay especially pleasant. The dive center is nearby. That’s where we set off on our dive trips—either by car or by boat. For short distances, we have lunch at the dive center or at one of the many small restaurants you’ll find all over Bali. We don’t have to worry about the diving gear. Our dive guides wash it for us after the dive and automatically load it onto the boat the next day. The staff at the dive center are extremely friendly and helpful. And the dive guides can spot even the tiniest pygmy seahorse in the reef.
